Heritage Transport Festival Bucks

Linlithgow Classic Car Day, Central Scotland

- Event Description: We will have a road run round the area – for those who wish to participate – with the destination and route yet to be finalised, starting from the Park Bistro at 1015-1030, until returning to the town centre about 1230-1245pm. The car show itself will be held in Linlithgow town centre from after 12.30pm until 4.30-5.00pm. There will be as usual prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best car of the show – selected by the driver entrants themselves. The prize-giving will be made about 3.30-4.00pm by a local dignitary. As in previous years arrival time for registration will be at 09:00-10.00am at the Park Bistro (beside the Millennium Link canal east of Linlithgow (http://www.theparkbistro.co.uk/restaurant/how-to-find-us) and tea, coffee and bacon rolls will be available.

This year, the Aston Martin Heritage Trust will be celebrating 30 years of the DB7. If you’ve got a DB7 at home, there’s no better time to bring it to the event! Once again, parking will be set out by era, so visitors can expect to be wowed by a display of cars ranging from the oldest surviving Aston Martin in the world, “A3”, through to the ultimate performance cars of the present. We are hoping to beat last years attendance of nearly 300 exhibition vehicles from across the South West including classic cars and motorcycles, vintage tractors and classic commercial vehicles too!
