Event Information For ' Cotswold Festival of Motoring'

Car Information: Veteran, Vintage, Classic, Competition and Sports cars are welcome - The Festival will comfortably exhibit some 250 interesting vehicles. The Cotswold Festival of Motoring aims to celebrate vehicles of historic, design, or technical merit. Including cars and motor cycles from the veteran (pre World War I), vintage (pre 1930), post vintage (1930 to the end of World War II) and Class ic (over 20 years old) eras. More contemporary machines will also be selected to join the display.Exhibiting vehicles must preregister in advance at: http://cotswoldfestivalofmotoring.org/registering-a-vehicle/ There will be additional parking for 1000 cars on site for public visitors to the Festival. Cars intending to exhibit include: a superbly original 1920 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, a factory fresh 1959 Mini, and a D Type Jaguar race car to name but 3. As well as the vehicle displays for visitors to enjoy, there will be fun for all the family with food and beverages served from classic vehicles, traditional stalls in a Village Fete area, merchandise and music. There will be a light hearted concours competition with Categories from Best in Show to the ever popular and often surprising Peoples Choice, with Autoglym prizes for the winners. Event Description: Cotswold Festival of Motoring will take place in The Cotswold School grounds in Bourton-on-the-Water. The village is often described as the Little Venice of the Cotswolds, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors will only be a short walk from the Motor Museum, Model Village, Maze, Perfumery, Birdland and Greystones Nature Reserve should you wish to explore more widely. The Festival is a charity fundraising event for Midlands Air Ambulance, NSPCC, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice, and Canine Partners.
