***Sadly the website states that the event will no longer be held***Wicksteed At War 2025 is the Midlands premier military history show for the whole family. The show is FREE to enter, features an action packed arena, hundreds of reenactors and vehicles on the show grounds as well as aircraft flyovers. Our 2018 show attracted 18,000 visitors!- Both are Public days where you can see: arena displays, stall holders, aircraft flybys and both vehicle and re-enactor exhibitors. TICKET PRICE … ITS FREE !! The Military Vehicle Trust ( MVT ) celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 1999. The Military Vehicle Trust has grown into one of the largest military vehicle preservation groups in existence with branches worldwide and a membership of thousands. The Essex Branch of the MVT is based in Chelmsford and has a membership of over a hundred people with over two hundred vehicles ranging from pushbikes, jeeps, lorries, artillery and tanks
