We are also having a Concours d’Elegance and a Comfort competition to be judged by Phil Cavanagh and Geoff Marr from Stirling and District Classic Car Club. Prizes for these competitions will be presented at the Touristique gala dinner at the Automobile Club de Monaco at the end of the event. If you wish to come along to show your support there is lots of free parking, lots to see at the Centre and it’s only a short drive from Glasgow. There is a direct train link from Glasgow City Centre to Balloch.
About Monte Carlo Rally UK Leg Pre Rally:
All of the activities on the pre-Rallye day will take place in and around the Loch Lomond Shores Centre. Document checks and signing on will be in the Zest café in the shopping complex. Food and hot drinks will be available to buy from the café. Scrutineering will take place in the morning within the overflow car park which is on the right as you come towards the Centre. In the afternoon there will be a ‘wiggle waggle’ driving test in the capable hands of Alistair Reid, our chief marshal. Back in the day this would have taken place by the harbour in Monte Carlo at the end of the Rallye. Ours is at the beginning and by the shores of Loch Lomond, probably Scotland’s most famous loch.Location: Loch Lomond Shores Centre
