This superbly organized event is open to 160 pre-1988 vehicles and is now in its 24th year, it will start at ‘(Sanders) Garden World a Wyevale Garden Centre’ Bristol Road, Brent Knoll, and follow a scenic route of 85 miles across the Mendip Hills. Stopping for lunch at ‘Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford’. Then it’s on to finish the day with a spectacular display of the cars on the Lawns of the Majestic Wells Cathedral from approximately 2pm onwards. After the judging which has taken place throughout the day, the winners of the various categories will be awarded their trophies during the afternoon.
Members of the public are welcome to come along to view the cars and speak to the drivers on the Cathedral Lawns in the afternoon.
The Mendip ‘Vintage & Classic Tour’ organised by the Classic & Historic Motor Club will take place on Sunday 13th May 2018. It has become one of the most popular events in the West of England’s motoring calendar, attracting a wide range of interesting vintage and classic vehicles.It will be helping to raise funds for the charity ‘Macmillan Cancer Support.

Membership of the Classic and Historic Motor club is open to anyone, however participation in events organised by the Club is limited to cars that were constructed at least thirty years before the event. Our membership is drawn from a wide area covering Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire Dorset and Devon.
