Based on Laurence Pomeroy's formula to calculate the ultimate Touring Car, the Pomeroy Trophy is awarded to the overall event winner. As well as taking part in a High Speed Regularity Time Trial, the cars will be tested on handling, accelearation, and braking - not least forgetting one of the most unique car tests in the world: the ability to carry two VSCC standard sized suitcases! As in 2018, the VSCC look forward to another 'Pom' on the Grand Prix Circuit. This year's event is open to all road worthy cars, and penalties will not be given for cars arriving on trailers. There will also be no external filter point.

The Vintage Sports Car Club Clubis celebrating its 80th Anniversary in 2014. VSCC is primarily concerned with the preservation and competition of sport-cars built pre-1931 and selected Post Vintage Thoroughbred sports-cars (PVT’s) built prior to 1941. It is a large and growing Club, organising more than 30 competitive events every year from racing to rallying, hill climbs and trials. The Club currently has 7,500 members worldwide.
