The aim of the RHTS is to run a Transport Museum as an educational facility and also to restore historic items of transport. The annual Cavalcade of Historic Transport is one of the ways that RHTS raises funds for our restoration projects. We have regular Steam- up weekends for all the family to enjoy, seeing our steam train running along the line which has been restored after so many years of disuse.
