Continuing a tradition which spans over 100 years, the Portchester Gala caters for all ages, with an impressive display of vintage and military vehicles, a selection of stalls which offer some of Hampshire’s most exclusive products, and a fun fair which is destined to set up a momentous carnival experience. This sets the scene for the annual parade, where the talents of the local community are captured, ranging from primary school exhibitions to the local motorcycle club. Starting at 11.30 am, the parade will run through the streets of Portchester, leading the public towards the castle, where another day in the gala’s history will begin.
