Car Information

All types of pre 1989 classic vehicles, with the main focus on cars. Hedingham Castle is situated in the village of Castle Hedingham, half a mile from the A1017 between Cambridge and Colchester. How to get here... from London... ..M25, M11 exit 8 (A120 Colchester), take A120 to Braintree. Circle round the bypass following Sudbury signs. The castle is signposted from here. 1m out of Braintree on Sudbury road branch left on A1017 to Gosfield and The Hedinghams. In Sible Hedingham take right turning to Castle Hedingham and turn left to castle at top of village main street. Entrance gates 200 yards on right. Always a highlight in the Hedingham calendar! Featuring a huge range of vintage, pre 1940s classic, classic and modern classic vehicles, this show is a must for all car lovers and the perfect way to spend a Sunday. Gates open at 11am and cars remain in place until 4pm. Food and drink stalls will be available throughout the day. Picnics welcome and dogs on leads permitted (dogs are not allowed inside the Castle). A great day out in the company of some interesting, beautiful and strange vehicles – and their owners! And if you have a classic of your own, bring it along for free admission! (Pre-registration essential)! We’ll have food vendors and the Castle Bar, the Keep will be open and there some wonderful walks in the grounds. It’s not just a great classic and vintage car show, it’s a great day out for all the family!
