Car Information: The Bugatti Owners Club, with the support of the historic Bugatti Trust, will showcase a unique collection of nine original Grand Prix Bugattis, including the Type 35, 35A, 35C, considered to be the most successful of the Bugatti racing models, the Type 37 and 39 derivatives, Type 51, 54 and 59, which succeeded the Type 35 as Bugatti's premier racing cars for the 1930s. Porsche GB will celebrate 40 years of the 928 at this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show. In a coup for the TVR Car Club, the new 500bhp V8-engined TVR Griffith will be the star of the Club’s stand. The Quattro Owners’ Club plans to illustrate the family heritage of this iconic Audi to tie into the show theme of ‘Family Ties’. An equally tremendous display is being arranged by the De Dion Bouton Club UK, who are making their debut appearance at the show. This year, the Lada & FSO Owners’ Club UK will be displaying the last-ever Caro hatchback in addition to a rather different form of Riva saloon. Back in 2002, a team of ten Lotus engineers took 1000 hours to convert a standard 1996 Riva into a £100,000 sports saloon for Top Gear. The club will be bringing a replica that is ‘even better’ than the BBC car; a Lada guaranteed to impress all who encounter it.
