Welcome to the website for the Cumbria Steam Gathering which takes place annually over the last weekend in July. Our home since 1986 has been Cark Airfield, Flookburgh, Grange over Sands LA11 7LS by kind permission of Mr J Latham and Sons.
About Cumbria Steam gathering
Thanks to everyone who attended and helped with the Steam Gathering 2023, we are pleased to announce that we will be going ahead with the rally again in 2024, dates for your diary are July 27th and 28th. All enquiries via the contact us page of this website or by phone to 07825 369601In addition to the usual displays of some of the finest examples of preserved vehicles and machinery, we have this year introduced an additional class for working industrial equipment and we are looking forward to some impressive muck shifting demonstrations over the weekend as well as the usual cultivation, haymaking and wood sawing activities (all weather permitting).Location: Cark Airfield, Flookburgh
