Once again we're attempting to improve on past glories such as the truly unique moment when Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore) was reunited with her 'Goldfinger' helicopter after fifty years, a unique piece of history of which all other Airshows are jealous. Honor is not the only Hollywood star to have visited the Airshow; every year the most famous Spitfire of all, MH434, steals the show. For 2018 we are delighted to start as we mean to go on; the first aircraft to be booked was the extraordinary 'Sally B' star of Memphis Belle and the only flying B-17 in Europe. Sally is coming back for a record third consecutive Airshow. The tale of just how this 25 tonne leviathan is still flying is as remarkable as the aircraft herself. Old buckenham Airfield
The Military Vehicle Trust ( MVT ) celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 1999. The Military Vehicle Trust has grown into one of the largest military vehicle preservation groups in existence with branches worldwide and a membership of thousands.
The Essex Branch of the MVT is based in Chelmsford and has a membership of over a hundred people with over two hundred vehicles ranging from pushbikes, jeeps, lorries, artillery and tanks
