Car Information

There are parades of steam traction engines, steam lorries, vintage tractors, heavy horse and fire engines, plus working steam-powered farmyard machines, a full-sized steam train, a model steam train (which takes passengers round a track) and small steam models. There are static displays of vintage cars, classic cars, motorbikes, stationary Engines, military vehicles and many fascinating exhibits. There are demonstrations of steam ploughing, steam threshing of corn, steam powered sawmill, stone crushing, mini and full sized tractor pulling and farmyard implements of a bygone era. Ploughing and cultivating demonstrations using vintage tractors and horses will be taking place throughout the weekend. The Snakewood Dog Agility Team will give regular demonstrations in their own separate arena. There will also be a craft marquee, food hall and over 60 trade stands as well as working with the local community to provide free entertainment for children over in the Hub with a fenced in safety zone by the main ring. To enable visitors to see all the attractions on the 170 acre showground, transport is provided, free of charge, in the form of specially built trailers, towed by tractors.
