Car Information

Eligible Vehicles Period of eligibility 1900 to 1975, to be split into classes as detailed below. Up to 100 vehicles maximum. The event will be held on the public highway. National speed limits apply, therefore, and all vehicles must be fully insured and road-registered. Entry fees are displayed below. £10 per additional passenger. Online entry will be available soon. In the meantime, for more information, please contact info@oakamoorhillclimb.org. Oakamoor Park is located off Mill Road in Oakamoor in the Staffordshire Moorlands, near Cheadle. The nearest postcode is ST10 3AG (for sat-nav purposes). The Park The Park is divided naturally by the River Churnet. The Paddock and Static Display areas will be on the left bank and the Public Car Park for visitors on the right bank, accessible via Mill Road. The Hill Carr Bank offers a challenging stretch of road with a very steep 1:5 start. A road closure will be in place for the stretch of road (0.8 miles) from the village to Blakeley Lane, which is the beginning of the return route. For security reasons, a one-way system will be in place. Marshals will be positioned at regular intervals up the hill and along the route to ensure access to local residents if required as well as road safety. The Paddock Up to 100 veteran, vintage and classic motor vehicles will be parked in Paddock, where you will be able to get close to the cars and chat with their owners. Volunteers This event is run entirely by volunteers for local charity, Staffordshire Clubs for Young People. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at info@oakamoorhillclimb.org. Camping It is not permitted to camp overnight in Oakamoor Park but there are two very good campsites nearby: Hales Hall Caravan and Camping Park and Alton, The Star Camping and Caravanning Club.

****No confirmed 2024 dates yet*** Up to 100 veteran, vintage and classic motor vehicles will take part in the third Oakamoor Hill Climb Revival. They will assemble in Oakamoor Park, where you will be able to get close to the cars and motorcycles and chat with their owners. The Paddock will also accommodate the Sponsor displays and one or two other gems of the transport industry as well as a food and craft stalls and fun activities for all the family to enjoy. The entry form and regulations will be available online very soon.
