Car Information

Classic Minis Sat/Sun Mixed classic and performance sports cars Bank holiday Monday. Riviera Run features a number of events such as Show N Shine, Rocker Cover Racing, Loudest Exhaust and Stereo Sound offs and a Glow Show to raise money for the chosen charities. We also have St Austell Fire Brigade road safety demonstration, RNLI Fowey training exercise in Pentewan Bay, Live Viking Combat displays, Army Recruitment and entertainment from local bands/singers. There is also a run down to Cornwall on Friday 3rd May, Monday 6th May is an Open Car show for any make of car classic or modern featuring a live Band, Tuesday 7th May is a Cream Tea run and Wednesday 8th May is a Fish and Chip Run. Please see our programme attached for the full schedule of events over the weekend. In 2023 we raised £2,200 which was split between Children's Hospice South West and Fowey RNLI (cheque presentation photos attached). 2024 charities will be Children’s Hospice South West and Cornwall Blood Bikes and we hope to raise a similar amount this year if not more! The Best Mini Show in Cornwall (+all classics on 6th!) A prestigious Mini show organised by the Cornish Mini Club, situated at Pentewan Sands five-star, family-friendly holiday park with a private beach! Cornish Mini Club organise the Riviera Run at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park in St Austell each year which is a 3-day car show predominantly for classic and modern Minis on the early May Bank Holiday weekend with an open car show on the bank holiday Monday.

The CMC History (cmcrivierarun.co.uk) The Cornish Mini Club was founded in 1993 and the first Riviera Run was born in 1995 in Newquay. We moved from the Newquay venue to Pentewan Sands in 2017.
