Date: 28 August 2019-28 August 2019 Times:
10am to 4pm
This is a small sociable event attended by the Mercedes Club and also the Rolls Royce enthusiasts club.
We will again be having The Peoples Choice Award (voted for by the visitors) and the Mayors trophy. If you would like to get involved then please contact us at: Wccr2011@hotmail.com We have recently found that Flowery Field in Woodsmoor was the birthplace of the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1920, founded by William Walmsley. He subsequently moved to Blackpool, met William Lyons and moved to Coventry, where the company became SS Jaguar Cars. So can we say that Woodsmoor is the spiritual home of Jaguar Cars....? The vehicle produced there was a Stockport Zeppelin- we are hoping to track one down to bring to the Show so if you know the whereabouts of one of these elusive beasts please let us know. See here our website for more info.
*** No confirmed 2018 information yet*** This years Woodsmoor Classic Car Rally will be on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August 2016. The organisers ask for a £5 voluntary donation on the day to support their charities St Ann's Hospice and Tommy's. More info: http://www.wccr.org.uk

I've enjoyed living in Woodsmoor for over ten years and last year thought it would be a great idea to do something for the community. A few years ago me and my husband finally acquired our dream motor; a Citroen DS20 Since then we have enjoyed going to car shows and meeting other classic car enthusiasts. Then it struck me. Why not get all the great classic cars I've seen in and around the area into a local venue and make some money for charity? So here we are again. I hope you can support us in what we hope will be a fun day that will help put the great district of Woodsmoor on the map!
