This year we are remembering the young Pilots of both sides who flew over the skies of England during WW 2. We are extremely lucky this year to be exhibiting a full size replica of a WW 2 Spitfire alongside a full size replica of a German ME 109 and in between them will be a full size replica of the infamous Doodle bug V1 flying bomb ! Also displaying alongside them will be re-enactors from the RAF and German Luftwaffe Bomber
By car from the M53 motorway.
Leave the M53 at junction1 and at the roundabout follow
Birkenhead A554. At the next roundabout follow Birkenhead A553. Follow the road for 1.8 miles, Birkenhead park is on your right hand side. Follow the event signs for parking via Ashville road.
From the A41
Follow the A41 towards the Liverpool tunnel, where the road splits into three take the right hand lane marked town centre. At the roundabout take the third exit marked
Wallasey B5147. At the next roundabout take the first exit marked Wallasey A553. Follow the road for 0.9 miles,
Birkenhead park is on your left hand side. Follow
the event signs for parking via Ashville road.
By Bus, Train or Mersey Ferry.

We have displays of classic and vintage cars, motor-cycles, Military vehicles, fire engines and classic HGV,s. We have a packed two days of entertain-ment with dog displays, live brass band, singers and a full range of craft stalls and traders offering Something for everyone.
Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised over £22,000 for local charities and good causes, distributed through the Birkenhead Lions Club.
