Event Description: Drive It Day 2018 offers you the opportunity to blow the cobwebs off your vintage, veteran, classic, sports, prestige or modern performance car after it's long winter hibernation and kick of the 2018 season with a fabulous one day event driving on some of Scotland's finest roads. The day starts with arrival at the unique Deanston Distillery, Doune for breakfast and registration. Prior to the drivers briefing entrants will receive numbered roundels for their car and route instructions for the day. The first car will depart from the distillery at 09.30; following cars will then set off at 30 second intervals. The route will take in some beautifully scenic roads, passing through the Dukes Pass, Gartocharn, Glen Douglas, Garelochead and the Argyll peninsula. The route will take us to Inveraray Castle where the Old Kitchen has been reserved for entrants to enjoy a private lunch. Entrants will also enjoy the privilege of being able to park their cars at the front of the castle.
