Our Celebration Display will be the DBS (6 cylinder model) which is 50 years old this year. Our invited car club are the Lagonda Club and we expect for a good display of these wonderful cars. The Concours display will be inside the huge hangars which will ultimately be converted into the production line for the new DBX, making this a one off opportunity to afford members an exclusive look at this new site. Members attending in Aston Martins will be allowed to park inside the giant hangars amongst aircraft displays, again at no charge There will be a cordoned-off area for members only to enjoy a complimentary glass of Taittinger Champagne and meet up with fellow members. Again this will be organised by Rob Smith and the Heritage Trust, who have previously pulled the stops out to ensure a fantastic display. Please advise Rob Smith directly should you wish to be included in this display, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Over the last few years we have see a growing number of members entering their Newport Pagnell manufactured Vanquish in the ‘Newport Pagnell 8 cyl and Vanquish Class’. To compare a 1970’s manufactured Aston Martin to a Vanquish, produced more than 30 years later is challenging for the judges. It has therefore been decided that we should split this class into 2. The new classes will be known as:
Newport Pagnell V8 Class
Newport Pagnell V12 Class
The most populated class at Concours over the last few years has been the ‘Pride of Ownership Class’. This is a class specifically for those members who wish to be involved in Concours, but have cars that may used more regularly or have been modified outside of the manufacturers original specification.
For those members wishing to take part in the Pride of Ownership Class at Concours, they may now enter the following designated classes.
Pride of Ownership (Heritage) Class
Pride of Ownership (Gaydon) Class
The Spring Concours on 9th April will be at Aston Martin Lagonda’s new facility at RAF St Athan, near Cardiff, South Wales.
RAF St Athan, near Cardiff,
Aston Martin Owners Club. Aston Martins have been lovingly built for almost 90 years, yet the production total has only just reached 20,000 examples. Each car can be considered unique as might be expected for such an exclusive and bespoke marque
